Sandboxie runs your applications in an separated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other applications and information in your pc. When you run a system on your pc, information moves from the disk drive to the system via read functions. The information is then processed and displayed, and finally moves returning from the progam to the disk drive via create functions. Sandboxie changes the rules such that create functions do not make it returning to your disk drive.
